Are your courses approved by my state?
All our self-study courses are approved by the ASRT for ARRT Category A credits. Many organizations accept credits from the ASRT.
All our self-study courses are also approved by the state of Florida.
For questions on specific state requirements please see our State Requirements page.
What does Category A mean?
Category A credits are given to activities approved by a Recognized Continuing Education Evaluation Mechanism (RCEEM). The ASRT is a RCEEM for the ARRT. All of our courses are ASRT approved.
Note: after January 1, 2008 only Category A credits will be accepted by the ARRT.
Who notifies the ARRT of my continuing education credits?
The ARRT requires you to report your
continuing education credits. Every biennium you will receive a renewal application from the ARRT. This renewal application will include instructions for reporting your continuing education credits.
For more information visit the ARRT website at www.arrt.org.

No, the ARRT will not allow you to complete the same course in the same or any subsequent biennium. We are always adding new courses. If you are unsure whether or not you have previously taken one of our courses please call our customer service.
Is there anything that can be done if I lose my certificate of completion?
If you ever misplace your certificate of completion you may call or email us. We keep all certificates on file for at least 4 years. We will send you replacements at no additional cost.
What Date of Completion will I receive on my certificate?
As per ARRT guidelines, the date of completion is the day we receive the test.
| | "The certificate should reflect the “date of completion” as the date the sponsor received the completed post-test. Due to time-zone changes the participant must be aware that this may result in a different date. This may be crucial only on the last and/or first day of the month as a biennium begins or ends." |
